otheby’s Hong Kong is delighted to present Vine | A Breathtaking Collection of Domaine Bizot + More, an impressive single owner sale that will be accepting bids from 17 to 26 February.
The consignor of this collection began his wine journey almost a decade ago, when he was a consultant for a global conglomerate of wines and spirits. As his interest in wine grew he went on to earn a Diploma in Wines and Spirits, and before long his home cellar and various wine refrigerators were soon filled with wines from all around the world. As his interests and travels grew so did his cellars, which spanned the U.K., the U.S. and Hong Kong.
His initial love for wine started with the finesse of German Riesling’s (which unfortunately are not on offer this time) and the ethereal Burgundian Pinot Noirs. As he continued his journey in wine, he found himself taking a turn toward the “natural” category, which opened the door to an appreciation of a broader spectrum of wine styles. This offering presents a wonderful reflection of the collector's tastes and focus on great estates that are not often encountered.
