These charming putti playing among flowers have affinities with the work of the Procaccini brothers, who were originally from Bologna but mostly worked in Milan.

It was the Procaccini brothers who inspired the sculptural quality of the angels’ bodies, with strong contrasts of light and shade, as well as the composition with multiple figures.
