shaped square bowl chased with panels of strapwork in alternating designs- one with drapery and pendant beads, the other with central flowerhead, the rim incised with Hebrew Blessing, inverted pear-shaped stem and shaped square domed foot chased to match, apparently unmarked

From the collection of Asher Frenkel, descended in the family. Asher was born in Poland and moved to Tel Aviv in the 1920s, successful businessman who collected art, Judaic and ancient coins.
