Unlike campaigns for other territories, this poster pits Honey Rider as James Bond’s equal, with both characters drawn in proportion; Honey was often relegated to the background, or appeared as a vignette illustration, shielded and protected by 007. Moreover she is pictured equipped for action, with her utility belt prominent (often missing from other bikini depictions) and with her weapon drawn, in keeping with Bond’s pistol-ready stance.
