Single leaf, c.180×125mm; written in a fine bâtarde script, 20 lines per page; foliated ‘16’; the text comprising the end of the Gospel extract from Mark and the beginning of the Passion narrative based on the gospel account of John; the latter introduced by a LARGE MINIATURE ACCOMPANIED BY A FULL BORDER depicting a large crown or Roman soldiers in armour, Judas kissing Jesus, who heals Malchus’s ear, while St Peter sheaths his sword; somewhat worn and damaged
