Chancery folio (286 x 200mm.), 259 leaves (of 260, without final blank), [*10 a-z8 A-D8 E10 F-H8], double column, 46 lines plus foliation, gothic type, a1 with illuminated initial in green on a pink and gold ground with leafy marginal extensions terminating with a green and blue bird, red initial-strokes and paraphs, smaller initials in red or blue, a few early annotations, some deckle edges, fos 137-144 misbound after f.216, seventeenth-century blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards with the arms of Breslau (Wroclaw), two clasps, blue edges, modern slipcase, some staining in centre of volume
