4to (275 x 208 mm). Original watercolor by Hunt inserted before half-title, 48 plates after drawings by Hunt, 4 of which in color; nearly imperceptible browning. Full green morocco, with raised bands in six compartments, covers with septuple gilt rule borders, upper cover with central gilt duck in flight, top edge gilt, green marbled endpapers; spine and edges toned to brown.
