in Louis-XVI taste, comprising 48 dinner knives, 48 dinner forks, 24 tablespoons, 24 dessert knives, 24 dessert forks, 24 dessert spoons, 24 demitasse spoons, 6 salt cellars, 6 associated salt spoons, each Fabergé piece engraved with the crowned Cyrillic cypher EN, possibly a dual cypher for Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna and her husband Prince Nicholas of Greece and Denmark, within an oval reeded border with ribbon ties and surmounted by a bowtied ribbon, surrounded by a laurel wreath, the terminal with acanthus leaves extending to the reverse, the salt cellars with lion paw feet, the upper rim chased with a leaftip border, the interiors gilt, the original fitted case with four trays and applied with a metal plaque on the cover bearing the same cypher, the associated salt spoons with gilt bowls each piece marked either KF or K. Fabergé in Cyrillic and some with the Imperial Warrant, 84 standard, the salt spoons marked for Sheffield and sterling silver, 1959-1961
