circular, the lid painted en plein with a roundel with roses, sunflowers and other flowers against a stippled lavender-coloured background within within gold crescent moon paillon border, surrounded by blue enamel over sun-ray engine-turning and further opaque white enamel rims, maker’s mark within sun-dials, the rim numbered 309
diameter 7.1 cm; 2 3/4 in.
