Attributed to the workshop of Namikawa Sosuke (1847–1910)

Meiji period, late 19^th century

the oviform vase with short, slightly everted neck, copper gilt mounts, decorated in wireless enamel (musen) on a pale grey ground with a silvery full moon partially shrouded by dense cloud, the foot graduating into a blue enamel ground
