An identical teapot and cover is preserved in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, gift of J.H. Fitzhenry, collection no. C.413&A-1909 is illustrated by John Ayers, Oliver Impey and J.V.G. Mallet in Porcelain for Palaces: The Fashion for Japan in Europe, 1650-1750, London, 1990, cat. no. 103; another of this form decorated with a bird and scrolling foliage was included by Marchant in their catalogue of Recent Acquisitions, London, 2000, cat. no. 33.
