STEFAN ZWEIG (to Noël Charavay, concerning La Fontaine, 2 pages, Salzburg, December 1924), ROMAIN ROLLAND (2, one concerning a financial matter, 4 pages, Villeneuve and elsewhere, 1914 and 1938, one line cut out), THOMAS MANN (about some lectures, 1 page, Los Angeles, 29 September 1940), ISRAEL ZANGWILL (to the manager of the Pacific Review, 2 pages, London, 19 July 1901): together with an autograph envelope by SIGMUND FREUD (addressed to Paul Federn, postmarked 20 November 1932), and letters by Jacques Maritain (2), Edgar Quinet, Rafael Schermann, Hippolyte Taine, and others


...Toutefois je sais que justement les fables de La Fontaine etaient l'objet favori d'un habile faussaire vers 1840-1850 et l'ècriture (que vous voyez bien dans le facsimile) me parait exacte mais un peu trop facile...
