The upcoming sale of Old Master Drawings (31 January, New York) celebrates the brilliance of the medium across eras and styles, with works by Baroque master il Guercino, French Romantic Pierre-Paul Prud’hon and Italian avant-garde artist Gino Severini. The second session of the auction is dedicated to the collection of the late Egbert Haverkamp-Begemann, the influential professor of 17th-century Dutch and Flemish art at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts.
