The ceramic is sound. A crack extends vertically through the centre of the tile, measuring approximately 13.5cm in length, with a corresponding crack on the reverse. An additional crack extends from the upper left edge. Both of these cracks are very likley inherent to the firing process. There is a small chip to the centre of the upper edge. There are several other irregularities to the surface and edges, almost all of which would have been inherent to the crude character of the tile at the time of execution. This work is in overall good condition.
