Condition

The canvas is not lined. The canvas bears another painting by the same hand on the verso. On the recto, inspection under UV light reveals a 5cm. long diagonal area of retouching in the lower left corner, one spot in the lower right corner and a small number of further scattered areas of retouching elsewhere. Some tiny flecks of paint loss are apparent in places, predominantly at the extreme edges, however the paint surface appears to be stable. There is some minor surface dirt. This work is in overall good condition.
