The pattern which features on the border of this serving dish is purportedly named after a British officer in the East India company, who is said to have ordered an Export service which featured similar decoration.
This dish is in general good condition with the exception of fritting along the rim and expected wear including surface scratches. There are minor kiln imperfections such as burst bubbles and iron spots in various areas.
