Condition
The board appears to be sound. There is some slight rounding to the lower right and upper right corners. There are a very small number of tiny nicks to the left and right edges, intrinsic to the board. There are some tiny flecks of loss in the upper right corner. There is some historic rubbing to the upper and lower edges. There is some surface dirt and studio matter. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals scattered areas of localised, sensitively executed retouchings. The work is floated within a painted wooden frame and held behind glass.
