De Blieck painted a number of views of the interior of the Laurenskerk. Variants of the present picture, taken from a similar viewpoint but with differences in the staffage, are in the Historisch Museum, Rotterdam, inv. 11002-A (on deposit from the Instituut Collectie Nederland, Amsterdam, in. NK1549; signed and dated 1695, oil on panel, 95.5 x 117.5cm);1
