Sale, Christie's London, 21st March 1996, lot 65, where acquired by the late owner

The sheet is secured to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape in the upper corners. There is some residue from an old, previous adhesive tape along the upper edge, not visible in the present mount. There also appears to be the remnants of some card adhered to the reverse of the sheet as a result of a previous mount. The work undulates very slightly, vertically through the centre of the sheet. There are a few sscattered specks of foxing to the sheet. There also appears to be some very faint time staining towards the left and right edges. There is also some very light surface dirt apparent. This excepting the work appears to be in good overall condition. The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
