Both canvases have been laid down on board. Both canvases, particularly the latter, show evidence of old scattered minor losses presumably before the canvases were laid down as the paint surfaces are now secure and under dirty yellowed varnishes. The latter has two more significant areas of old damage to the far left as visible in the catalogue illustration. Inspection under UV light is impeded by the aforementioned varnish although some scattered retouchings do fluoresce. Offered unframed.
