Condition
This work is overall in very good condition. There is a minor stroke at 5 cm down from the top border, 23 cm right to the left border. There is another minor stroke at 5 cm down from the top border, 2 cm right to the left border.
There is no evidence of restoration under UV light. This work is not examined out of frame.

帥梅於1994年畢業於中央美術學院民間美術系，作品曾廣泛地在亞洲、米蘭、倫敦、紐約等大城展出，1994年北京中央美術學院並收藏了其《茶園》作品 。
生長於北京的她，一直對祖輩所敍述的、回憶中的南方抱有憧憬，因此在作品之中，總是藉由超現實主義與懷舊手法，表現溫柔濕潤的江南風情，以及東方女性的體態與知性美，一如線裝小說中的繡像，藉著雅緻的場景佈置，營造雍容嫻靜的言情氣息。畫中人物造型雖然現代，但面貌、體態和氣質，無不古意盎然。
《紅樓夢》裡面的十二金釵，堪稱中國古代仕女形象之典範。在第十七、十八章回中，寶玉為黛玉的居所「瀟湘館」，題上「寶鼎茶閒煙尚綠，幽窗棋罷指猶涼」的聯語，而在寶釵的「蘅蕪苑」，則吟出「輕煙迷曲徑，冷翠滴回廊」之句，此恰與《荷庭細雨》和《水榭風來》的旨趣相通。這並非畫家刻意追摹，而是創作期間的精神狀態，所謂發思古之幽情，當屬此例。
