Founded in 1968, The Studio Museum in Harlem has been the cultural epicenter of its community as well as an important presence in the international art world. Join the museum’s director Thelma Golden and board chairman Raymond J. McGuire as they discuss the institution’s mission and the creation of its dynamic new building. More than 40 artists, including Mark Bradford, Sam Gilliam, Lorna Simpson and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, have contributed works to support the Studio Museum’s campaign to construct its new home in the center of Harlem.
