Highland Dress Regalia Fit for a Clan Chief

7 - 14 JANUARY | LONDON

The Macleans of Ardgour Regalia is a set of bespoke jewelled Victorian Highland dress accessories, dating from around 1871. Watch as the regalia is uncovered and assembled for the first time in over 100 years on vintage highland dress by Stewart Christie, Edinburgh’s legendary and longest established tailor. Comprising engraved pistols, a bonnet, clan badge, brooch, ‘sgian-dubh’, dress sporran, Highland dirk, straps, belts and buckles, the fabulous set comes in a unique case, fit for a Clan Chief. The Macleans of Ardgour Regalia is a highlight of our upcoming Royal and Noble sale (7 – 13 January). This year, the sale has a distinctly Scottish character but also features heirlooms from the noble households of Great Britain, Europe and beyond.
