The first dedicated frames sale to be held at Sotheby’s in over a decade, this carefully chosen selection comes from the Richard Green Gallery, one of London’s most prestigious art dealers.

Sharing the delightful world of frames with us are Peter Schade, Head of Framing at the National Gallery, and Lynn Roberts, Picture Frame Historian. This collection features frames that date from the 17th to the 20th century, with examples from the British Baroque, French Rococo, and a variety of Italian frames, suitable for paintings from Old Masters, to 19th century, Impressionist and Modern works.
