Destruction and Creation: Alberto Burri

London | October 2015

'Bianco Plastica 1' has been held in the renowned collection of Milanese doctor Alessandro Passaré for over three decades and will be now be offered for auction in The Italian Sale on October 2015, proceeds to Benefit the Passaré Foundation. Alberto Burri’s early medical training finds expression in this work by simultaneously evoking wounding and mending: destruction and creation.
