Francesco Scavullo left his mark on many magazines – but Allure may have been the one that most shared his drive to root out the beauty in everyone, from super models to drag queens. Editor-in-chief Linda Wells remembers working with the photographer and talks about her favourite images in the collection that will be offered as part of Sotheby’s 2 November auction Francesco Scavullo: No End to Beauty.
