A Life Less Ordinary: On Organic Wine with François Poher & Ludivine Griveau

Beaune | 20 November 2022

The Halles de Beaune becomes the stage to the 162nd Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction, on 20 November 2022. Taking place, as is tradition, on the third Sunday in November, this is the world’s oldest and most renowned charity wine auction. The relationship between health and the environment is central to the operations of this uncommon institution. The 2024 vintage from the Hospices de Beaune wine estate will also embody the successful conversion of its 60-hectare vineyard to organic farming. François Poher, the institution’s director, and Ludivine Griveau, manager of the Hospices de Beaune wine estate, tell us about the ethic shared in their healthcare and winegrowing.
