O n 26 and 27 January, Sotheby’s welcomed guests to a brunch and dinner reception, presented in partnership with Sentient Jet, in its New York galleries.
At brunch, visitors enjoyed hors d’oeuvres as they viewed a selection of exceptional Masters Week artwork. Following brunch, Christina Eberli, founder of The Flip Slide, held a Behind the Canvas tour. Later on, Cristiana Romalli, Senior Director, Old Master Drawings, led a discussion entitled Scholarship and Science: New approaches to the study of Old Master Drawings.
The dinner reception highlighted Master Paintings, in honor of Save Venice. Guests were offered cocktails as viola soloist David Aaron Carpenter performed with the Salome Chamber Soloists. Subsequently, visitors were seated for dinner in the galleries – surrounded by mounted masterworks.
