Hix founded the HIX Oyster & Chop House in Farringdon in 2008, going on to build an international empire of award-winning restaurants. His long-standing friendships with artists such as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin and Michael Craig-Martin have allowed him to develop an unrivalled collection of Modern and Contemporary British art, which graces the walls of each HIX restaurant.
