Sotheby’s Hong Kong Gallery’s exhibition presents the works of Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat, together two legends whose six-year friendship has fascinated the art world for decades. Celebrating the first joint exhibition of Warhol and Basquiat in China, which opened in Shanghai earlier this month and closes in Hong Kong on 23 November, guests gathered for cocktails courtesy of Bibo. The event was well attended and brought to Hong Kong a vibrant decade in New York City’s art history. Guests enjoyed the rare opportunity to see the works of two aesthetic pioneers and two iconic creative minds of an era.
