There was a flurry of activity at New Bond Street this week with a series of events ahead of the Fine Jewels and English Literature sales. Illustrator Quentin Blake was special guest at a drinks reception ahead of the First Editions: Re-covered sale, which benefited the House of Illustration gallery. This week guests also had the opportunity to view highlights from both the London Fine Jewels and Wish List Online sale and Mark-Francis Vandelli was the special guest for a lunch and jewellery masterclass. Other events included an opening reception for a selling exhibition of Polaroids by Vogue photographer François Halard and a lunch to celebrate the release of the new book, Sotheby's Maestro.
