On 11 October, celebrities, art world luminaries and philanthropists gathered at Sotheby’s for the 26th Take Home A Nude auction to benefit the New York Academy of Arts. Amy Cappellazzo, head of Sotheby’s Fine Art Division and the event chairperson, joined Academy president David Kratz and board members Eileen Guggenheim, Caroline Kennedy, and Lorne Michaels for the star-studded night that honoured artist John Alexander and raised over $1.1 million to support the Academy’s programming. Among the guests were Derek Blasberg, Brooke Shields, Mary-Kate Olsen and Padma Lakshmi and artists Mickalene Thomas and Spencer Tunick. For images of the glamorous night, click ahead.
