  • Nike Dunk High Futura FLOM White Livestrong Sample Estimate: 85,000 - 95,000 EUR

    One of the most highly-coveted releases from the Nike SB line was a pair of Dunk High sneakers created by New York artist Futura back in 2004. The ‘For Love or Money’ (FLOM) Dunks featured a pattern consisting of different currency from around the world, but were limited to only 24 pairs that were gifted to friends and some of Nike SB’s skate team.
    Five years later, Nike and Futura reworked the FLOM Dunk as part of the ‘LIVESTRONG Greatest Hits Collection’ to raise money for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Released during the 2009 Tour de France, the shoe was remixed to incorporate the LIVESTRONG signature Black/Yellow colour palette.
    However, the sample version of this shoe - that never made it into full production - was even better. Using white leather in place of black, the sample retains the full colour currency printed panels (rather than the monochrome print of the released version) that stay true to the 2004 originals. Futura’s signature and the Futura Laboratories logo are coloured in LIVESTRONG yellow as a finishing touch.

  • Chanel x Reebok Instapump Fury Estimate: 10,000 - 12,000EUR

    In an oversaturated climate of endless sneaker collaborations, not many truly stand out as groundbreaking or define a moment in time. Back in October 2000 (a generation before LV x Nike, Gucci x Adidas and Dior x Jordan Brand) two very unlikely brands in the form of luxury fashion house Chanel and workout brand Reebok came together to create something very special.
    Those in attendance at Chanel’s ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 21 runway show witnessed a curveball on the catwalk, as models sported luxurious looking pale grey/white sneakers to accompany the high-end clothing.
    The premium version of Reebok’s Instapump Fury saw Chanel’s iconic interlocking CC branding blazed across the heels, with the fashion house logo also adorning the shoe’s tongues.
    With extremely limited pairs produced for Chanel’s models, employees and show guests, this shoe represents a genuine moment in luxury-meets-sneaker culture, and is widely regarded as a true unicorn for sneaker collectors over generations.

  • KAWS x DIOR BFF Plush Set (Denim & Suit, 2 pieces) Estimate: 12 - 15,000EUR

    There’s no denying Kim Jones has a love of fusing streetwear culture with luxury goods. From his roots packing boxes of Stussy tees at Gimme 5, to bringing Louis Vuitton and Supreme together as official collaborators on the Paris runway in 2017, Jones has always had equal passion for both innovative streetwear and high-end fashion houses.
    For his debut show as Creative Director for Dior Homme, Jones tapped Brooklyn artist Kaws to apply his signature style to the proceedings. Guests invited to the runway show at Garde Républicaine in Paris on June 23 2018 were greeted by a giant Kaws BFF figure standing 10 metre tall and covered in roses and peonies, as a focal point of the venue.
    Small plush editions of the Dior BFF were released in a limited run of just 500 pieces of each figure - a Black BFF in Dior denim, and a Pink BFF in Dior tailoring.

  • Bearbrick x BAPE Mickey Mouse Set 1000% (Blue/Red/Multi) Estimate: 3,000 - 5,000EUR

    Founded in Harajuku, Tokyo in 1993, A Bathing Ape (BAPE) creator NIGO wanted to create a lifestyle brand that would encapsulate modern luxury for a younger generation.
    Envisioning the classic ‘Bape Head ABC’ camouflage pattern as his version of the traditional Louis Vuitton monogram, which he applied to clothing, footwear and a huge range of both wearable and functional accessories.
    A huge fan of collecting rare objects, NIGO’s partnership with Japanese vinyl toy brand Medicom was both natural and inevitable.
    BAPE was one of the first brands to embrace Japanese toy culture with their series of collectible Bearbricks, which opened the door for a multitude of global brand collaborations with the vinyl figures that have gone on to symbolise the culture of modern collectibles.

    For many years New York skate brand Supreme have been regarded as the kings of collaboration culture, with groundbreaking partnerships from the world of fashion, sneakers, art, music, film and sports.
    Some of the most coveted and collectible of Supreme’s collaborations come from their ever expanding accessories line that see an interesting selection of seemingly everyday objects given a custom Supreme makeover, often featuring the brands iconic ‘Box Logo’ emblem and signature red/white colourway.
    The Supreme x Everlast heavyweight punching bag features an eye-catching red leather finish and weighs in at a solid 70-lb.
    An instant sell-out on release back in 2016, the punching bag has gone on to become one of the brand’s most desirable accessories, and a work of art in its own right.

    Nike Air Jordan 1 High 'Chicago' 1985 Estimate: 8,000 - 10,000EUR

    In the story of “important sneakers” not many come more important than the OG silhouette that birthed the most iconic bloodline of signature sneakers of all time, the Air Jordan 1.
    Designed by Nike innovator Peter Moore, the leather high top basketball sneaker with eye-catching colour blocking panels was quickly adopted by the streets to became a genuine sports/fashion crossover that would change the game for good.
    From the infamous ‘Banned by the NBA’ commercial to its pivotal appearance in Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’, the OG of OGs, the Air Jordan 1 has been one of the most beloved sneaker silhouettes for almost 4 decades.
    Having reissued multiple times starting in 1994, purists and Air Jordan collectors unanimously agree nothing beats the shape, fit and finish of the 1985 original release.

    Nike Mag 'Back To The Future' 2016 Estimate: 50,000 - 70,000EUR

    When Air Max and Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield was tasked with creating a futuristic shoe for the 1989 movie ’Back To The Future Pt.II’ no one could have predicted the impact this would have on sneaker culture for years to come.
    The pivotal scene of the movie when Marty McFly swaps his classic white/red Nike Bruins for a pair of power-lacing Nike Mags will forever live on as a defining moment where sneakers crossed over with mainstream pop culture.
    For many years, the return of the Nike Mag was top secret project at the Nike Campus in Beaverton, with Tinker and his team working out just how to bring back the fabled silhouette as a wearable shoe.
    When the Nike Mag was first released in 2011, Nike set up a special charity auction on eBay where 1,500 pairs were sold with all proceeds to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease research. This initial run however didn’t feature the self-lacing system so many fans were crying out for, but that was still to come...
    A further 5 years later, Hatfield and his lab had finally perfected the power lacing system, so in 2016 a very limited run of just 89 self lacing Nike Mag sneakers were auctioned off raising a huge $6.75 million for The Michael J. Fox Foundation.
    The Nike Air Mag is beloved by sneakerheads, movie fans and pop culture collectors alike and will forever remain a defining moment in the culture.
