Dior x KAWS BFF Plush Set, 2019

Included in this spectacular lot are both Dior x KAWS BFF Plush Toys. A true cultural artefact, these toys are some of the most iconic pieces from the collaboration between Dior Homme and artist KAWS. This collection, curated by Kim Jones, truly showcases the fusion of high fashion and contemporary artistry, and was the first of many groundbreaking collaborations in the high fashion world with Kim Jones at the helm. 

On offer are two KAWS BFF plush toys, each dressed in bespoke clothing from Dior’s atelier. The Black BFF is dressed in a tailored Dior Denim Jumpsuit, featuring the iconic Dior bumblebee modified with KAWS motifs. The Pink BFF takes a more professional look with a fitted black suit complete with ties. Both toys retain KAWS’s signature crossed eyes, hands, and feet - instantly recognisable symbols of the artist's distinctive aesthetic. 

Limited to just 500 pieces each, these serialised BFF Plushes are coveted collector's items, accompanied by tags printed on the sleeves and housed in protective display cases to preserve their authenticity and rarity. Numbered 159/500 for the Black BFF and 314/500 for the Pink BFF, these plush toys offer a unique opportunity to own a piece of fashion history.
