From 21–24 June, Sotheby’s and Atlas Obscura welcomed guests to four exclusive events themed around lots in the Fine Books and Manuscripts Including Americana Online auction. Enthralled audiences examined letters written by Abraham Lincoln and Tennessee Williams and Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" manuscript, enjoyed burlesque performances and absinthe tastings in an Edgar Allan Poe-centric night and learned how modern maps are made, examining centuries-old ones in the process.
