Concluding the sale, gems from the New World stand out, featuring iconic bottles such as the 1974 Robert Mondavi Reserve and inaugural vintages from Opus One and Screaming Eagle, rounding out this extraordinary collection. At the heart of Pierre's wine appreciation has always been a desire to share, a desire which is now extended further in New York, with these lots now offered to the world from this great cellar.
“To me, wine is the 9th art. It is the only art form one can consume, using senses that other art forms don’t typically involve, such as one’s taste and smell, and it requires creativity on the part of the owner. ”
