This October, Sotheby’s is delighted to announce Islamic, South Asian & Middle Eastern Week in London, comprising six auctions of sought-after works spanning centuries and continents. Leading the week is The Edith & Stuart Cary Welch Collection which will be sold in two parts, alongside by the bi-annual auctions of Arts of the Islamic World & India and The Orientalist Sale. The 20th Century Art / Middle East sale brings to the market several important private collections and the annual Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction returns, led by an important work by Manjit Bawa.
