S otheby's is delighted to present an extraordinary series of Asian Art sales. The live Chinese Art sale (4th November) displays the full breadth and depth of China's artistic traditions: from the finest early ceramics to imperial works of art and twentieth century historical documents. Led by an extremely rare yellow-ground blue and white ‘pomegranate’ dish from the Xuande reign, the sale has a particular focus on early ceramics, exemplified by two private collections: the Houlezhai Collection, led by an exceptional Northern Song dynasty Cizhou sgraffiato meiping, and the collection of Sir Ewen and Lady Fergusson, which continues into the online Asian Art sale.

Running concurrently and closing on the 6th November, Asian Art / 5000 Years, including Snuff Bottles from the Wei Miao Shan Fang Collection features an extensive collection of snuff bottles from the Wei Miao Shan Fang Collection, all without reserve, alongside a group of paintings from the descendants of Edward T. Chow (1910-1980) and other highlights from across the continent.
