The World of Salvo
Selling Exhibition: 8–29 February 2024 • Milan

T his February, Sotheby's presents a selling exhibition dedicated to Sicilian artist Salvo. On view in Sotheby's Milan galleries at Palazzo Serbelloni, the exhibition features a selection of paintings that offer a glimpse into the artist's production, from the early 1980s onwards. Salvo's timeless, colorful and meditative painting is a manifestation of a continuous dialogue with the classical world and history. Salvo's style fascinates not only an increasingly global public, but also fellow contemporary artists, who draw from his almost dreamlike world in search of inspiration.
