Studio Renn

Studio Renn is a Bombay-based jewelry design practice founded in 2018 by Rahul and Roshni Jhaveri.

Years spent in the company of artists—in studios, galleries and museums—studying and collecting art culminated in the Studio Renn, which was born out of the need to create and for self-expression. The precious wearables are beautifully imperfect—and are always a bit off-center.

True to the name Renn, which means reborn, or rebirth, the Studio explores concepts and perspectives, and recreates the world of abstract ideas, objects and feelings.

This is the philosophy that guides Studio Renn, in pursuit of a creative space
for experimentation and development of works of art, including jewelry. The Cutting Edge Contemporary Jewellery Series at Sotheby’s.

The Works

Lola Fenhirst

Lola Fenhirst is an independent, small-batch fine jewellery company founded in 2015 by Lola Oladunjoye. Instantly recognizable for its striking architectural and afro-modernist aesthetic, Lola’s work draws on her Anglo-Nigerian background and Yoruba heritage to create wearable art that blends traditional African adornment motifs with the best in European jewellery-making technique. The collection reflects a sense of timeless elegance, focusing on bold silhouettes, clean lines and ease of wear. Lola brings a deep intellectual curiosity and multi-disciplinary approach to her work, coming to jewellery design as a second career having spent 18 years practicing high technology law in California’s Silicon Valley. In addition to designing fine jewellery, Lola is also a writer whose articles exploring complex issues such as identity and family heritage have been featured in British Vogue. Within a short time, Lola Fenhirst has become the red-carpet jewellery of choice for Hollywood stars such as Halle Berry, Angela Bassett, Kelly Rowland, Michaela Coel, Keke Palmer, Emily Blunt, Laverne Cox and Uzo Aduba, to name just a few.

Lola Fenhirst is based in Paris.
