Inspiration for this style comes from the staff of office used during the inauguration ceremony of a Yoruba king or high chief. The hand-carved bronze staff which features a depiction of Edan, the Yoruba goddess of order and governance at the apex, is symbolic of initiation into a secret society of leaders in Yoruba tradition. Set in 18K yellow gold with white diamonds.
