L ondon Craft Week and FiredUp4 present Secret Ceramics, a selling exhibition featuring works from 100 artists, both established and emerging talent who have been invited to donate works to sell at a fixed price of £650 per piece in an anonymous sale. Guess your favourite artist or just buy with your heart from a room full of ceramic variety including donations from Ebony Russell, Freya Bramble Carter, Jacques Monneraud and Michel Francois. Ceramic artists know the value of experiencing creativity via clay and truly believe that this opportunity should be given to all young people, regardless of economic background.
Works are for sale at Sotheby's London throughout London Craft Week with the artist revealed on purchase.
Sale proceeds are in support of the work of FiredUp4 Clay Clubs. FiredUp4 is a charity that runs Clay Clubs, ceramic classes that offer young people a hands-on (and screen-free) way to explore their creativity, find focus, and discover themselves. FiredUp4 works in partnership with OnSide, a network of state-of-the-art youth centres built in the UK’s most economically disadvantaged areas.
