S otheby’s October Contemporary Art Day Auction brings together an exciting group of works by some of the most sought-after artists of the moment. In the spirit of Frieze week, this season’s sale combines an exceptional selection of contemporary works, by artists including Sarah Slappey, Emily Ludwig Shaffer, Katerine Bernhardt and Tschabalala Self as well as a selection of great works by the YBA artists including Chris Ofili, Damien Hirst and Sarah Lucas.

We are also delighted to be offering a group of 22 works donated directly by artists and sold to benefit the ICA on its 75th anniversary. The highlights include works by Wolfgang Tillmans, Richard Prince, Antony Gormley, Isa Genzken, Raymond Pettibon and Marlene Dumas.
