S otheby’s is honored to host the iconic ArtCrush 2022 auction to benefit the Aspen Art Museum. The auction will take place both online and in person at the Aspen Art Museum’s annual summer gala, ArtCrush, on Friday, August 5 at 8 PM MT.
Please note there will be no buyer's premium added to the hammer price and the difference between the fair market value and the winning bid is a tax-deductible donation to the museum. The winning bidder will receive a tax acknowledgement letter from the museum for this amount. Please contact bid@aspenartmuseum.org if you have any questions.
The ArtCrush 2022 auction includes a curated selection of exceptional works by some of the most exciting artists working today. Lots range from under $5,000 to over $200,000 and include painting, sculpture, ceramics, fabric work, work on paper and design art. This year's ArtCrush gala is co-chaired by Chandra Johnson, Jamie Tisch, and Sara Zilkha and will honor artist Gary Simmons with the Aspen Award for Art.
All the works have been donated to the museum by incredibly generous artists and galleries, in support of the museum’s artistic and educational programs, and will be on view at the Aspen Art Museum July 30 - August 5.
