12mo (152 x 88 mm). Woodcut borders, anatomical man, and monthly panels; top margin trimmed close with a few borders and letters just shaved, some browning and offsetting, stray spots, stain to anatomical man. Stitched self-wrappers; some spotting and browning . Housed in custom clamshell case.

First edition. This printing of Poor Richard includes Franklin's instructions on "How to secure Houses, &c. from Lightning."
