This Lech Poznań jersey was worn by Robert Lewandowski on August 27, 2009, when Lech Poznań faced Club Brugge in a UEFA Europa League Playoff match at Breydelstadion in Bruges, Belgium.

Club Brugge levelled the tie on aggregate with a 79th-minute goal before ultimately prevailing on penalties to secure qualification to the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League group stage.

Robert Lewandowski began his rise in Polish professional football at Lech Poznań after joining the club in 2008 from Znicz Pruszków, where he had already established himself as a prolific goalscorer in the lower divisions.

At Lech, Lewandowski quickly developed into one of the standout forwards in the Ekstraklasa, combining sharp movement, physical strength, and an instinctive finishing ability. His impact grew significantly during the 2008–09 season, and he played a central role in Lech Poznań’s 2009–10 championship-winning campaign, finishing as one of the league’s leading attacking threats.

His performances during this period earned him a move to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2010, marking the beginning of his rise to becoming one of Europe’s elite strikers.
