Sotheby’s is proud to present this 14-karat gold Chicago Bulls 1998 NBA Minority Owner–Issued Championship Ring.
Led by Finals MVP Michael Jordan, alongside Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman, the Bulls concluded the 1997–98 regular season with a 62–20 record, securing the top seed in the Eastern Conference. Under the steady leadership of head coach Phil Jackson, Chicago demonstrated championship resolve throughout a season famously chronicled as “The Last Dance.”
In the postseason, the Bulls defeated the New Jersey Nets, Charlotte Hornets, and Indiana Pacers to claim the Eastern Conference title before overcoming the Utah Jazz in six games in the NBA Finals. Jordan’s legendary game-winning shot in Game 6 sealed the franchise’s sixth championship in eight seasons.
The 1998 title completed the Bulls’ second three-peat of the decade, cementing their dynasty and securing the team’s legacy as one of the greatest in NBA history. This minority owner–issued ring stands as a powerful symbol of that unparalleled era of excellence.
