Film Posters of the 40s, Aurum Press Limited, 2002, p. 8
Grinsson Affiches de Cinema/Movie Posters, Stanislas Choko, 2006, cover and p. 53
Boris Grinsson's design on this poster is one of the best looking Bogart posters for any of his films.
Exceptionally rare French poster, which has only surfaced a few times.
This film was released in America in 1942. Owing to World War II, it was not shown in France until 1949, by which time Humphrey Bogart was already a huge star, having made several major films since Casablanca.
