of double-gourd form, painted with continuous scenes of chinoiserie figures and foliage in rocky landscapes between lappet and foliate scroll borders, the necks with stylised leaves, I8 marks in blue to both


Height 41 cm., 16 ⅛ in.

A Dutch Delft jug, attributed to De Grieksche A factory, with chinoiserie figures and a similar leaf border to the neck as that on the present lot is illustrated by Jan Boyazoglu and Louis de Neuville, Les Faïences de Delft, Paris, 1980, p. 195, no. 203.
