Description

with feather-banded and cushion-moulded borders throughout, the arched mirrored doors flanked by pilasters with gilt-metal capitals and bases, opening onto shelves, drawers and a mirrored central cavity, the writing slope opening onto an arrangement of drawers and pigeonholes and a writing surface lined with green velvet, a sliding section of the bureau section also revealing a secret cavity with two long detachable partitions, the lower chest section with two short and two long drawers, on bun feet
